[Audio & Visual] No sound output from AV Receiver/Sound Bar.

Last Update: 4-7-2019

Sound may not output from AV Receiver/Sound Bar due to temporary HDMI identification error or recent software update on the TV.

First, power off the AV Receiver/Sound Bar and TV, disconnect all the HDMI cables, and unplug the power cables. After five minutes, reconnect HDMI cables and power cables.

Next, please check the following 3 points.

  • Check the setting of HDMI Control on AV Receiver/Sound Bar.
If the setting of HDMI Control is “OFF”, please set it to “ON” according to the instructions in owner’s manual.

  • Check the setting of HDMI Control on the TV.
Please check the setting of the synchronized operations is “ON” and the TV is set to output audio from the external speakers.
*For the detail of TV settings, please contact to the TV manufacturer.

  • Connect the AV Receiver/Sound Bar and TV with an OPTICAL cable instead of an HDMI cable.
If the sound comes normally, please change other HDMI cable.

If still no sound output from the AV Receiver/Sound Bar even after checking above points, please confirm if the AV Receiver/Sound Bar and the TV have the HDMI Control function.
