Frits Damrow started his musical career as principal trumpet of the Radio Symphony Orchestra of the Netherlands when he was 21 and still had to finish his studies at the Maastrichts Conservatory. After 9 years he was appointed as principal trumpet of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam holding this position from 1991 until 2010. Since 2009 he has been Professor of trumpet at the University of the Arts in Zurich, Switzerland (www.zhdk.ch) and since 2013 he is principal trumpet of the Sinfonieorchester Basel.
David Bilger has held the position of principal trumpet of The Philadelphia Orchestra since 1995. Prior to joining the Orchestra, he held the same position with the Dallas Symphony.
Peter-Lukas Graf is nowadays the doyen of international well-known flutists. After a decade of mainly conducting operas and symphonic concerts, he has been a professor in Basle.
Born in Limoges, France in 1972, Jérôme Voisin started playing the clarinet at the age of 9. He has been a principal clarinet of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France since 2006.
A gifted trombonist, conductor, composer and arranger, world-renowned musician Wycliffe Gordon grew up in Waynesboro, Georgia in the United States. He was musically influenced at a young age by his father, Lucius Gordon, a classical pianist and teacher.
