The newly designed, tapered aluminum Ab plate (powder coated black) can be inverted to reverse the shape.

Shoulder positioning can be fine-tuned by rotating the shoulder’s Caster down (into the back) and/or pivoting the Camber angle (toward/away from the neck).

The adjustable, lineal back bar facilitates additional shoulder adjustment and back bar support, with removable, Comfort Core Cushion. Other features include a torso height adjustment and a wide range of shoulder adjustments to maximize weight distribution.

All May® Field Corps carriers include respective drum mounting hardware.

The Field-Corps series snare hinge incorporates a leveling system that can be adjusted with the drum in playing position. A nylon roller system allows for quiet lift-front capability and quick, easy removal of the drum from the carrier. Positive or negative drum tilt is available due to the special shape of the carrier-side hinge. The hinge parts are made of ribbed aircraft alloy aluminum making them strong and lightweight.

The patented MAY free-floating snare hinge eliminates drum shell contact resulting in virtually no mechanical or sonic stress to the drum shell. Lift-front capability also tilts for proper playing angle. The Wing SFZ attachment, while playing for both tilt and level adjustability, comes standard on all carriers except Power-Lite carriers.

Comfort Core Cushions use a combination of two different types of foam in isolated cubes for comfortable and self-adjusting support. They are available separately and can be retrofitted to the shoulders of any MAY carrier. The Comfort Core Cushions can be placed anywhere on one's shoulders to ergonomically fit any body shape. The RM-CCC includes two strips of Comfort Core Cushions and two self-adhesive hook/latch strips.
