Yamahe est vert au coeur

Yamaha actively works to promote the regional environment by reducing the environmental burden of its business activities, products and services, and effectively using energy and natural resources under the Yamaha Group Environmental Policy.

To maximize the positive impact of our green initiatives we focus our activities in several areas:

  • Keeping Tabs on Our Suppliersouvrir dans une nouvelle fenêtre

At the heart of our Environmental Policy is our Green Procurement Standard. We recognize the critical need to procure components and materials that exert as little environmental impact as possible. We’re always monitoring and managing the status of efforts by suppliers to conduct environmentally friendly business activities as well as the procurement of components and materials containing chemical substances.

  • Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!ouvrir dans une nouvelle fenêtre

We’re constantly working to conserve resources used in our products. Whether we’re reducing product size and weight, integrating several products into one, or reducing, reusing, and recylcing product packaging–waste reduction is always top of mind. We even send a variety of used instruments back to its factories for recycling of materials.

  • Conservation of Wood Resourcesouvrir dans une nouvelle fenêtre

There’s no question that we need wood to make the best pianos, string, percussion, and woodwind instruments. We strive to eliminate waste, while making full and efficient use of wooden materials, and to proactively introduce wood cultivated specifically for industrial purposes on sustainably planned plantations. In addition, Yamaha is a pioneer in developing alternative materials that accurately reproduce the sound quality of rare wood materials best suited for making instruments.

  • Energy Conserving Productsouvrir dans une nouvelle fenêtre

We’re constantly working to improve on our products' energy conservation features often surpassing energy-saving regulations in countries around the world. Our energy-conserving products not only contribute to energy savings for customers, but also for society as a whole.

  • Yamaha Forest
