[TW Series] Why does the battery of the left and right earphone drain differently?
Last Update: 7-10-2020
While using the earphones, there will be a difference in battery consumption between Primary (controlling side) and Secondary (controlled side).
*The Primary/Secondary default settings of TW-E3A, TW-E5A, and TW-E7A are as follows:
TW-E7A: Primary- earphone(L) 、Secondary - earphone(R)
TW-E5A/TW-E3A: Primary - earphone(R) 、Secondary - earphone(L)
The Primary receives music from the smartphone and transfers music to the Secondary. The Secondary only receives music from the Primary. The Primary consumes more battery because it processes more data.
*In the case of TW-E3A, TW-E5A, and TW-E7A, if you turned on the earphones when the left and right earphones have a battery level difference of 30% or more, the Primary will switch to the one with a higher battery level automatically. Therefore, it may be possible to use it longer than when the Primary remains fixed.
