Important Notice of Recall: Defect Identified in Some PA-10B AC Adaptors
Yamaha Canada Music Ltd. has determined that a defect exists in some of its PA-10B AC adaptors that were sold individually and bundled with Yamaha analog mixer models MG10, MG10XCV, MG10XU, MG10XUF, and MG12XUK.

When stress is concentrated at the joint point between the AC Adapter’s upper and lower cases, a crack may occur near the joint point. Although not common, the AC Adapter’s outer case may separate completely from its base, thereby exposing the product’s internal electric circuit. This poses the risk of electrical shock injury to consumers.

This recall is limited to PA-10B AC adaptors manufactured from June 2021 through June 2023 with serial numbers ranging from 2126 to 2319.
To find the date code, please check the back side of the adaptor. An example of the date code is shown in yellow.
How to determine if the PA-10B adaptor bundled with your analog mixer is affected
The analog mixer serial numbers which may contain a defective AC adapter range from UGBM xxxxx to UGDM xxxxx (xxxxx refers to 5 digits). Below is a list of applicable product number patterns.
