"Sharing Passion & Performance" at Prolight+Sound and Musikmesse 2018

Yamaha will exhibit a large range of new products featuring the latest technology and new exciting features at Frankfurt Messe from 11th April to 14th April in the Portalhaus (next to Hall 11). This year, the company will make its booth a more exciting place to be with many activities designed not only to inform but also to entertain in order to demonstrate its 'Passion for Music'.

There will be live performances from great artists and a range of other exciting activities including 'learn to play', keynote speakers (talking about the future of music) and its own unique Yamaha 'Late Night Show' running all day that will be covering a wide range of music related topics all in an entertaining style. Furthermore Yamaha will offer songwriters the rare chance to meet A&R managers from major record labels to get feedback on their own songs and qualify for the finals of the European Songwriting Awards.

The company will also provide a variety of video contents, which can be enjoyed at Yamaha Musikmesse website*. The two roving musician reporters - Parisa Tarjomani and Luca Hänni - will be exploring the Yamaha passion for music by interviewing visitors and artists, as well as taking part in the many fun events.

Yamaha also participate in Prolight+Sound 2018 at Frankfurt Messe from 10th April to 13th April in Hall 3.1 / Stand E50.

Piano

Yamaha will introduce a range of new TransAcoustic and Silent Pianos. To perfectly combine excellent acoustic sound and modern technology, offering maximum flexibility and an unparalleled musical experience to today's pianists.

Electronic Keyboard

Clavinova will celebrate 35 years anniversary and release the flagship CLP-695GP, timeless grand piano elegance in a modern form. Beside YDP-S34 Yamaha will launch P-125 as compact and portable digital piano.

The new keyboards PSR-E463 and PSR-EW410 features new Quick Sampling, Groove Creator and a USB Audio Recorder. As professional performance workstations PSR-S775 and PSR-S975 are equipped with newly added content and a large memory capacity for expansion packs.

For Genos we introduce new firmware ver. 1.3 and "Audio Phraser" as free tool to create Audio styles.

Band & Orchestral

This year we will launch a new Neo and Custom euphoniums with trigger. For the modern euphonium player, control is key to performing at the highest level. You need to react quickly in response to others in the band and to do this, you need an instrument that gives you the ability to adjust quickly within the living environment of a performance.

Pro Music

Yamaha's Tour Custom Maple drum set will be displayed for the first time at Musikmesse, along with the new FG TransAcoustic guitar, which combines the durability and affordability of the top-selling FG and FS series with the award winning Yamaha TransAcoustic technology.

Yamaha will also present an all-new Montage OS version 2.0 bringing enhancements and improvements in sound variety, control and workflow to MONTAGE.

Line 6 will present the new PowerCab 112 and 112 Plus active guitar speaker systems, which combine the range, clarity, and power-handling capabilities of P.A. speakers with the rapid transient response of a guitar speaker, as well as featuring Line 6's innovative Speaker Modeling technology. And they are loud, producing a room-filling 128dB SPL maximum volume.

Professional Audio

The Professional Audio Division is launching four new flagship loudspeaker ranges at Prolight+Sound / Musikmesse; the active DZR and DXS-XLF and passive CZR and CXS-XLF series. In a 'first' for Yamaha, all DZR/DXS-XLF models are available with the option of onboard Dante audio networking. Used with Yamaha's class leading digital mixing consoles and/or networked audio products, this delivers a cutting edge solution for both portable and permanent audio systems.

The passive CZR/CXS-XLF models deliver an integrated solution with Yamaha's high performance power amplifiers and are also designed for both the portable PA and installation markets.
