And the 2016 Juno Award Winners and Nominees are...
CALGARY – The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) has announced the nominees and winners of the 2016 Juno Awards. The highlight of the night was a standing ovation for Burton Cummings, in honour of his induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame for his solo career. After receiving the award, he performed a tribute, which also featured Jann Arden and the Tenors.
Many artists, including some Yamaha Artists and Friends, were recognized for their outstanding work. We are proud to announce the following Yamaha-affiliated artists and groups who took home big wins, and we are honoured to support them in their careers.
Special congratulations to our Drum Artist Joel Cassady from Walk Off the Earth for winning “Group of the Year”, and Keys and Krates, our Live Sound artists for winning “Dance Record of the Year”.
