Orange O’Clock wins CBC Searchlight 2015

After being voted Canada’s Best New Artist in the 2015 CBC Searchlight contest, Orange O’Clock recently picked up their grand prize of $20,000 in gear from Yamaha Canada Music. Yamaha is thrilled to be the exclusive prizing partner with CBC as we continue our support of Canadian musicians.

Orange O’Clock, from Sherbrook QC, was announced as the grand prize winner, and the members travelled to their local Yamaha dealer to collect their prize, which included guitars, drums, a TF3 digital mixer and powered speakers, a Clavinova, and THR amps.

Over 3,000 artists and bands entered Searchlight, from every musical genre and every community in Canada. Yamaha provided the prizing for the musicians as well as the voters, giving away thousands of dollars of music and audio equipment to lucky fans across the country.

“It has been an amazing experience,” said Mickael Fortin, vocalist and keyboard player for the band. To learn more about Orange O’Clock, go to their website or “like” their page on Facebook.
