More than 30,000 people attended a night of classical, jazz and popular music at the Olympic Park in Montreal on August 14. Yamaha Canada Music Ltd. helped sponsor the event by providing nine units of CLP 440 Clavinova™ and an N2 AvantGrand™.

Directed by Montreal Symphony Orchestra Music Director Kent Nagano, the program consisted of lively and dramatic works, entertaining and uplifting the audience on a symphonic adventure. Well-respected Canadian Jazz artist Lorraine Desmarais led nine pianists and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra to what many agree was the highlight of the night, a triumphant rendition of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
