Yamaha Canada Music to Participate in First Annual Brain Power Conference

Can a parent have an impact on how a child’s brain develops? Can video games be created that have a positive impact on IQ and memory? Will teachers in the future be as familiar with the brain as they are the ABCs? These and other topics are on the agenda of the First Annual Brain Power Conference being held in Toronto, May 3-4.

The Brain Power Conference is a two day exploration of a child’s mind. Parents and teachers will learn from some of the leading researchers and educators in the world. They will understand how a child’s brain works and that a child’s capacity to learn can be directly influenced.

Yamaha Canada Music is excited to be partnering with the Brain Power conference, where we will be offering a fun and interactive workshop entitled “Creating Creative Thinkers Through Music” highlighting our unique approach to the development of creative musical skills through age-appropriate education, group learning, and an emphasis on improvisation and creativity.
