The new space required new equipment in the form of PA equipment, drum sets and recording gear. Yamaha is honoured by U of T’s decision to purchase all Yamaha equipment and proudly donated stereo systems with iPod docks and CD players for listening in classrooms.

Inderjit Mudhar from Yamaha and Jeff Brown from Cosmo Music worked with Terry Promane and Chase Sanborn of U of T to determine the needs of the programme. Cosmo Music put together a package and installed the new equipment.

The space offers its students dedicated teaching, rehearsal and practice space. This move will help the Faculty of Music with space requirements at the Edward Johnson Building.
