Michael England

Michael is currently Manager of Bands for the world renowned Calgary Stampede Showband Organization, and is an active music educator throughout Canada and the United States specializing in the marching arts. Michael established and co-coaches the Drumline for the Edmonton Elks Football Club, a fan favourite, performing during the 2018 Grey Cup Halftime show. From 2012-2021 Michael was the Director for Northern Empire Performing Arts where he directed ensembles whose performances include the Canadian Country Music Awards, and University of Alberta Athletic events. Most recently Michael was the Assistant Corps Director for the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps. Michael has worked closely with Calgary programs including Calgary Round Up Band, and the Calgary Stetsons Show Band. Michael holds a Master of Music in Music Education from Northwestern State University.
