Kat Lucas

Kat Lucas began her musical journey at the age of three. Today she is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter. Kat plays keyboards, guitar, and sings backup vocals for Pink. She was on the “Funhouse” tour through Europe, the UK, Australia and North America doing approximately 160 shows, breaking records worldwide, and performing on the “Funhouse Live in Australia” DVD. Kat also joined Pink on her “Funhouse Carnival” tour, taking on stadiums in Europe and the UK and playing legendary festivals such as the Hyde Park Wireless in London and the Isle of Wight alongside Sir Paul McCartney. Kat also plays piano, guitar, and sings with Ashley MacIsaac, and has played keyboards and sang backup vocals with Lights,Shiloh and Skye Sweetnam.

Kat is also an avid songwriter, and has seen her music featured on television (Family Channel, Much Music). She recently co-wrote a song for Koda Kumi for her upcoming album. In addition, Kat has made television appearances at the American Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, The Today Show, Jimmy Kimmel, MTV Live, Canada AM, Breakfast Television, and Family Channel. She also has been interviewed and featured on Entertainment Tonight Canada.

Kat always strives to expand her talents by pursuing a wide range of activities, including songwriting, production, and studio/session work. She is also currently writing and recording with her own band. With her diverse musical background and her sunny personality, she has gained the love and respect of both her peers and her toughest critics.
